Los Angeles, June 28 : The closing night of the Los Angeles FilmFestival, this Sunday, was marred when a screening of actress Katie Holmes' new movie was interrupted and the audience asked to vacate the theatre.
Holmes, 32, was among the stars who walked the red carpet for the premiere of "Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark", written by Guillermo del Toro, at the Regal LA Live cinema.
But the subsequent screening of the film was halted for about an hour when there was an announcement urging the audience to leave the building due to a crisis, according to Deadline.com.
The crowd left the horror movie's screening and vacated the auditorium, but later returned when the alarm was resolved and the movie was again started.
